LoRaWAN
The SenseCAP T2000 is a rugged LoRaWAN® asset tracker for plant, trailers, containers and livestock. It finds itself with GPS outdoors and Bluetooth or Wi-Fi scans indoors, raises a tamper alarm the moment it's removed, and runs for over a year on hourly GPS updates. The T2000-A and T2000-B run on an 8000mAh battery and are ATEX certified; the T2000-C adds a solar panel. Connect any of them to Trackpac for a live map, geofences and alerts.

Features
GPS, GLONASS and BeiDou outdoors, with Bluetooth beacon scans indoors and Wi-Fi scans on the T2000-B
A button on the back raises a top-priority alarm the moment the tracker is removed
Know when an asset starts moving, stops, or hasn't moved for a set time
Detect knocks and impacts with the built-in 3-axis accelerometer
8000mAh battery: over a year at hourly GPS updates, and years longer with less frequent updates
Waterproof and dustproof, -40 to +85°C, with ATEX certification on the T2000-A and T2000-B
Optionally stores up to 1,000 positions when out of coverage and sends them when it reconnects
Mount it with screws on containers and trucks, a strap on livestock, or 3M tape
Works on the Trackpac network, which roams onto the Helium Network
Models
All three share the same rugged IP67 case, tamper alarm and accelerometer. They differ in power and positioning, and all three work with Trackpac.
The standard version for outdoor assets, where GPS does the work.
Adds Wi-Fi scanning, for assets that spend time indoors as well as out.
Solar-powered, for assets outdoors in daylight that you don't want to visit.

Getting Started
No network server or console to set up: Trackpac's network roams onto Helium, so the T2000 joins wherever there's coverage.
Switch it on with the magnet
Hold the supplied magnet near the sensor area and tap 4 times quickly. The green LED lights, and the tracker goes straight into Bluetooth pairing.
Open the SenseCraft app
Choose Device Bluetooth Configuration, pick SenseCAP Asset Tracker T2000, select the tracker by its serial number and open Advanced Configuration. Set the frequency plan for your region: EU868 in the UK and Europe.
Choose Other Platform and copy the keys
Set Platform to "Other Platform" and the APP EUI to 545241434B504143, the value Seeed recommends for Trackpac. Copy the Device EUI, APP EUI and APP Key, then tap Send.
Add it in Trackpac
Go to Devices, tap +, choose "Enter Keys Manually", paste the keys and pick SenseCAP T2000 as the device type.
Get its first fix outdoors, then mount it
Test it outside first so the GPS can set its clock from the satellites. Then mount it so the tamper button on the back is held in, and add geofences and alerts.

FAQ
Yes. Set the tracker to "Other Platform" in the SenseCraft app, copy its keys and add it in Trackpac with "Enter Keys Manually", choosing SenseCAP T2000 as the device type. Trackpac decodes its location, tamper, movement, shock and battery data, and you can set alerts on any of them.
The T2000-A uses GPS and Bluetooth positioning on an 8000mAh battery. The T2000-B adds Wi-Fi scanning for assets that also spend time indoors. The T2000-C swaps the big battery for a 0.5W solar panel and a 4000mAh rechargeable battery, with a narrower -20 to +60°C operating range. The A and B are ATEX certified; the C isn't.
A button on the back of the tracker is held in once it's mounted. If the tracker is removed, the button releases and the T2000 raises a disassembly alarm, reporting its position every minute for 3 minutes by default. Trackpac can send that alarm straight to your phone by SMS, email or push notification.
Seeed quotes over a year on the T2000-A and T2000-B at one GPS update an hour, and up to 7 to 9 years with longer intervals. Event mode, shorter intervals, poor coverage and cold all shorten it. The T2000-A and B batteries aren't rechargeable; the T2000-C recharges from its solar panel.
Choose the T2000 for assets that stay outdoors for a long time, such as plant, trailers, containers and livestock: it's IP67, runs for years on its battery and has a tamper alarm. Choose the credit-card sized T1000 for people, bags and small kit, where size matters more and you can recharge it every few months.
Not if there's coverage where your assets go. The Trackpac network roams onto the Helium network and other public LoRaWAN networks. For guaranteed coverage on remote sites or farms, add your own gateway; our LoRaWAN consultancy team can help you plan it.
£15 (€18) per tracker per year, covering connectivity, the dashboard, alerts and data storage, with no setup fee. You buy the tracker itself from Seeed Studio or a reseller such as The Pi Hut.
